Re: Stat of the Day - June
You were Captain, bowled 8 0 19 6, scored 45 runs, took two catches and were still booed off!!
I can still remember Stevie Rudge questioning you as you came off - classic

Re: Stat of the Day - June
The first Doms Tour match was against Mendip Hospital on 12 July 1986. In true Doms style the team managed to grab defeat from the jaws of victory finishing one run short of the target. Of the eleven players on duty that day only the skipper, John Anstey, is currently playing for the Doms.

Re: Stat of the Day - June
The Doms have won seven and lost seven this season. We have generally batted second and have won four of the ten games when doing so. We have won three of the four games where we have batted first.

Re: Stat of the Day - June
Difficult to know as we dont know much about the opposition. We have actually only chosen to bat first once this season and that was because we only had seven at the start of the game! As we know we are using the midweek games and the odd Saturday game to change things around a bit and give everyone a chance to do something. If you just take the Sunday games which we are treating a bit more seriously (Doms style though obviously ) we have won five games, lost two and are currently on a four game unbeaten run. We have won three of the five times we have batted second and both the games we have batted first. We have not chosen to bat first in any of our Sunday games - mainly due to the size of the teas .

Re: Stat of the Day - June
Phil Walshe's half century against Ward End, his fifth for the club, took him past 3,000 career runs making him only the second player to reach the landmark.

The match on Thursday will be the 19th game between Open University and Old Doms. Our record reads won 2 lost 14 with 2 tied games. The last Doms win was in 2003 when Dave Wright scored an unbeaten 87. We have lost the seven games.

Re: Stat of the Day - June
I think we can just stick to tonights game! The 211-3 scored by OU is the highest score against the Doms in 20/20 cricket and the 199-6 in reply is the highest score by the Doms. Johnny Hodgson's 120 is the highest individual score by a Dom in 20/20 cricket
