New records!

Post  Steve M on Sat Sep 04, 2010 7:56 pm

September records adjusted above - in red!

There were only 15 balls left of the Doms innnings left when Matt Banham strode to the crease, brand new bat in hand, but the partnership with Phil Walshe put on 33 runs!. Phil's contribution was one run but then Matt only let him face one ball. Very Happy

Best Batting & Bowling

Post  Steve M on Mon Sep 06, 2010 11:32 am

Tom Perry is the only player so far this year to have the highest score and best bowling figures in the same match.

Others to have done it down the years are:-

Steve Morris (11 times)
Alan Rowan (2)
Laurie Boyle (2)
Tony Peck (2)
Alan Last
John Bardsley
N Moti
Dave Wright
Ben Sadler
Rob Rolls

The record for consecutive best batting performances is 4 by Alan Rowan in 1990 and Steve Morris in 2000.

The record for consecutive best bowling performances is 3 by John Anstey in 1986 and Alan Last in 2002.

Mark Hunt can join them if he gets the best analysis on Sunday Very Happy

Most Runs/Wickets

Post  Steve M on Mon Sep 13, 2010 5:26 am

Not much change after yesterdays match. The batsmen all missed out although Tom Hickin did enough to move above Alan Last. Alex Rich has moved above Rob Rolls and with the three players above him unavailable for next weeks match ( Shocked Rolling Eyes Sad ) he has the opportunity to move up further.

The changes are on the above post in red
