Playing at Bromsgrove has helped with the consistant quality of the pitches. We also play far more games nowadays particularly 40 over games where you have more time to build an innings. We also have a squad of players capable of scoring big which never used to be the case. I will adjust the stat to take in games per 50 and see how that looks. The bowling will also be coming under scrutiny.

that the use of a better batting pitches and better opposition will show its now harder to get wickets than in the "olden" days - not sure if the bowlers are that much better now than then?
